The choice of material for your project is essential for final fit and functionality. Our team of engineers will help you with the selection based on the weight, application, climate, and look on the best thickness and material to use.
We work with all of the largest plastic and metal sheet distributors in the US allowing us to offer a cost effective and quality substrate for your project.

Paint & Print

Paint
We operate state of the art spray booths with professionally trained painters and equipment. With 500 paint colors in stock we also offer custom color matching for any project.  All of our paints are automotive or marine grade urethane based paints from reputable companies.
We offer matte, semi gloss and high gloss top coat options using leading marine grade Polyurethane UV stable clear coats.

Print
When it comes to printing Tecnografic is equipped with traditional signage technology that allows us to apply text to any of our parts. We use equipment like printers, plotters as well as conventional silk screening technology for customized logos, icons, warning signs, and switch labeling.

Hydro-Dipping

Our unique 5 step ink water transfer process allows us to offer very realistic patterns such wood, stone, carbon fiber, brushed aluminum, and camouflage on any plastic or metal surface.  With over 1000 unique patterns in stock, Tecnografic is the leading hydro dipper in the marine sector.
Tecnografic is the only North American Licensee of Taica’s CUBIC printing decoration technology in the marine sector. We also source our patterns through local, and custom printers around the country and overseas.
Unlike wraps and prints, the ink transfer process chemically bonds the pattern with the substrate giving a UV stable, durable and scratch resistant finished product.

Engraving & Backlighting

Engraving with backlighting is a great tool for boaters or boat builders that intend to use their vessels at night for fishing, night cruising, or boat dining.
We have many options when it comes to illuminated switch panels, logos and trim parts which can vary by application and material choice. Some options include:
• EL wire backlighting recessed and installed
• Custom built – Bright light LED non recessed lighting
• LED indicators lights recessed and installed
• Text, nomenclature, logos and branding using engraving
Any part that is engraved is protected with an additonal top coat to avoid peeling, flaking, or delamination.
